About Blueberry Whale Books

Blueberry Whale Books publishes warm, playful picture books for children aged about 2–4 to share with a parent or caregiver.

Our first series, Band of Friends, follows four young Australian marsupial friends, Ned, Romy, Tilly and Pip, who grow up together in a riverside community their families built beneath the gum trees. Each story begins with something that matters to one of the friends, and humour and affection carry them through.

The books use brief, natural language, playful repetition and expressive pictures, with room for a child to respond. Joining in is always an invitation: watching and listening are equally welcome.
